Chicago Issues First Mobile Food Vendor/Pushcart License

@PalCrepes has made Chicago History by obtaining the first Prepared Mobile Food Vendor License.

Chicago, IL, April 18, 2016 --(PR.com)-- @PalCrepes, Chicago's first food cart is out on the streets of Chicago's Loop serving freshly made sweet and savory crepes as well as pasta bowls, fruit cups and salads. Each cart's gourmet goodies are made fresh each morning in small batches then packaged and labeled all in a commercial kitchen before they are brought out to the public for super fast fresh homemade food on the go.

@PalCrepes saw the opportunity to bring its fresh, homemade food to the streets and make it available quickly on the go. Danka took her mother Melissa's traditional European family crepe recipe and tweaked it to reflect today’s healthier options for fast food. With the goal to keep the menu interesting, she decided to expand it to include fresh pasta bowls, Buddha bowls, chopped salad, fresh fruit cups and of course sweet and savory crepes. The menu, always evolving, will offer hot items during the winter months i.e., fresh homemade soups, spinach/feta phyllo and whatever inspires her culinary creativity.

@PalCrepes is environmentally conscious and compassionate. They use biodegradable and/or recyclable packaging and utensils. They also offer vegetarian and vegan options. Look for the vibrant Orange and Pink Cart dedicated to vending fresh, healthy and tasty gourmet food come rain or shine. With plans of adding more carts this summer; you can follow them on social media for daily locations.

The Cart was conceived by a local single mother and entrepreneur who started a crepe catering business last year while simultaneously running a brick and mortar Art Gallery/Hair Salon in River North.

"I love Chicago and I am thrilled it has given me the opportunity to bring tasty treats to the streets." - Danka
