Long Standing Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Network Gets New Ownership After Over Two Decades
King of Prussia, PA, May 07, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Devon Health Services Inc., a regional Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Network, has announced the sale of the company to GFAR Health Services, LLC which will operate its business under the name Devon Health Services.
The sale, effective May 2, 2016, marks the beginning of a new era for Devon Health Services. The new ownership plans to focus on creating progressive ideas for expanding healthcare solutions throughout the region. Devon Health Services will continue with a renewed commitment to providers and clients alike to provide a quality managed care network.
“Since its inception, Devon Health Services has been committed to excellence; allowing patients the opportunity to choose quality care from the best providers,” said Dean Vaden, President of the new Devon Health Services. “While we are embracing the new change of our ownership, that commitment to excellence will not waiver.”
Vaden added that the PPO Network will continue to operate with the current management team in place. In an email to providers notifying them of the sale he said to expect no changes to the relationship forged by the Devon Health Services network with its providers.
Devon Health Services has over 60,000 physician/ancillary contracts and 450 hospital contracts. With The Company’s large number of participating providers and partners, mature infrastructure, aggressive pricing structure, high degree of automation, and expansion capabilities, the new ownership foresees a huge opportunity to increase the network success and create more long lasting partnerships throughout the region.
