The APA, founded in 1982, is an organization of payroll professionals in the U.S. and is committed to offering payroll professional certification programs, raising public awareness of payroll professionalism, and representing the payroll profession in Washington D.C. The FPC certification program was developed by the APA Certification Board and is administered for the APA by Pearson VUE, a leading provider of assessment services to regulatory agencies and national associations.

When asked about the recent APA Certifications, TruPay CEO and President Mark Rutledge stated, "Take it from me, the FPC exam is tough. It requires a lot of study and preparation. We could not be prouder of Maria and Shannon's efforts. They did a really great job."
