New York, NY, May 10, 2016 --(PR.com
)-- Shri Ramakant Maharaj will be travelling to the States to teach, for the very first time in September. He will be based in Washington D.C. During his ten week stay, he will be offering Satsang to interested seekers free of charge, in accordance with the lineage principles. The exact dates and details have not yet been arranged. Shri Ramakant's Admin Team is currently looking for possible sponsors, hosts and suitable venues.
Shri Ramakant met the legendary Nisargadatta Maharaj in 1962. In October of that year, he received the Master Key, the Naam Mantra. Subsequently, he stayed with his Master, Nisargadatta, for over 19 years and was present at his Mahasamadhi in 1981. Following in his Master's footsteps, over a decade ago, he started teaching from his ashram in Nashik, Maharashtra. Visitors from all over the world are travelling to India to be in his presence. They also go with the hope of receiving the Naam Mantra - which has been empowered by such impressive Masters such as Shri Bhausaheb and Shri Siddharameshwar - and passed down through the lineage.
Ann Shaw, editor of 'Selfless Self: Talks with Shri Ramakant Maharaj' said: "This is wonderful news! Now seekers in America - some of whom are unable to make the journey to India - will be able to meet him and listen to these powerful and transformative direct way teachings. Maharaj will also offer the Naam Mantra to visitors at his discretion."
In preparation for this rare visit to the States by a Self-Realized Master, Maharaj has asked visitors to read 'Selfess Self', the book of his teachings, beforehand. Ann explained: "The teachings are the same as those of his Master Nisargadatta but the way he expresses them, as well as the emphasis he gives to the practice, method and process are completely fresh. 'Selfless Self' is therefore essential reading prior to seeing Maharaj and will naturally maximize the benefits.
"Authentic Self-Realized Masters like Shri Ramakant seldom appear. Do not miss this golden, life-changing opportunity", concluded Ann.
