KIB and Acosta Cares Partner for Park Beautification Project

Irving, TX, May 14, 2016 --( Almost one year to the day that they originally scheduled the project, Keep Irving Beautiful (KIB) and Acosta Marketing Group, which includes Mosaic Sales Solutions, partnered to paint at the Lively Pointe Swimming Pool. On Friday, May 6, 88 employee volunteers gathered at the location to participate in the project as part of the “Acosta Cares” program of giving back to the community, and gave a total of 352 hours of service in the process. They painted the fencing around the pool as well as the exterior of the pool building, giving the facility a fresh look for the upcoming season. The heavy and frequent rains of last spring prevented the project from occurring in 2015, but this time the weather was perfect for the team to tackle the project. The City of Irving Parks and Aquatics Department provided supplies and technical guidance, and staff members also assisted in the painting.

“We are so pleased that everything worked out well and we were able to get this project in this time,” said KIB Board Member Kelly Horn. “We have partnered with Mosaic Sales Solutions in two previous beautification projects, and have found them to be a pleasure to work with. They are outstanding community partners, and many of our residents will recognize this company as the sponsor of the Blue Christmas event each year. We are honored to have companies like this who not only base their business in Irving, but also demonstrate what it means to be good corporate citizens through their Acosta Cares initiatives.”
