)-- From May 5-7, Levelok participated in the annual Dish Network Team Summit in Washington, D.C. Due to Levelok's entirely unique niche of ladder safety equipment, the booth stood out above the rest. President and CEO of Levelok, Phil Lanzafame, stressed the importance of reaching out to installers of satellite TV who more often than not use ladders and need to acquire the safety equipment necessary for reducing risk on the job.
According to a CDC report from April 2014, “Falls, particularly falls from ladders, contribute substantially to injuries in the workplace,” and according to a study in the May 2007 issue of the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, “The number of ladder-related injuries in the United States increased by more than 50 percent from 1990 to 2005.” The study included that more than 2.1 million people were treated in hospital emergency rooms for ladder-related injuries between 1990 to 2005, which averages out to more than 136,000 cases a year.
There are many ways to prevent ladder fall injuries, but Levelok Corporation takes it a step further by providing the exact equipment necessary to ensure the safest time without stress. One of the products showcased during the 2016 expo is the Quick Connect Ladder Leveler, which was displayed atop a Dish Network van throughout the show.
Levelok safety products include Stabilizers, Leveling Systems, Standouts, Tie downs and Ladder Carrying Equipment for reducing shoulder and back injuries.
