Motherly Media, Inc. Launches Video Classes

Interactive classes target Millennial women on their journey through motherhood

Menlo Park, CA, June 15, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Motherly, the week-by-week guide to motherhood, announced today the launch of its first two video classes - Work It and Love It - making it easier for Millennial mothers to get the information and guidance they need, exactly where they need it: online.

Focused on inspiring women in their careers and their relationships, each four-week video class is taught by an industry expert with deep experience working with women in times of transition in motherhood.

“Our mission at Motherly is to redefine motherhood for the Millennial generation. Motherly’s blend of expert information and real mom inspiration gives women daily encouragement and confidence,” said Jill Koziol, CEO and co-founder of Motherly. “Our classes will help bring more in-depth information to women in an actionable, engaging format.”

These first two classes kick off Motherly’s growth into online courses, developing the media company into a platform to help digitally-native Millennial moms access the information they need to thrive. Upcoming programming includes expert-led video classes on prenatal nutrition, iPhone infant photography and pumping at work, among others.

This class model takes information traditionally taught in doctor’s office settings or one-off community workshops - and makes it available at scale to women around the world. Motherly inspires modern women to approach motherhood with confidence, knowing, “You’ve got this.”

Work it - Your inspired guide to rock working motherhood is taught by Allyson Downey, the CEO of weeSpring and author of the new book, “Here’s the Plan: Your Practical, Tactical Guide to Advancing Your Career During Pregnancy and Parenthood.” The class gives women a blueprint to get more money, ownership, and flexibility from their careers in less time. “I’m excited to collaborate with Motherly to create a one-of-its-kind program that takes the insights of business leaders, my own experience as an entrepreneur and that of thousands of real working moms–to give women a roadmap to thrive,” said Allyson.

Love It – How to go from happy couple to a joyful family is taught by Vienna Pharaon, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in New York City, teaches. This class guides couples through the relationship changes inherent in new parenthood, and gives them the confidence to thrive as individuals, a couple and a family. “Love It will help Millennial couples to thrive as individuals, a team, and a family by inspiring them to be the generation that prioritizes a healthy marriage for the good of the whole,” said Vienna.

Each four-week class will contain daily video lessons, reflection prompts to help internalize lessons and develop new skills, and exclusive access to an ongoing, supportive community of other participants and Motherly editors. The classes supplement Motherly’s collection of over 1,000 articles covering the journey from planning to pregnancy to toddler years and beyond, written by Motherly’s team of industry experts.
