)-- Author and psychotherapist Richard Singer will be releasing his new book, Eastern Wisdom Western Soul in August of 2016. Mr. Singer is a recovering drug addict and has dedicated many years locally to treating addiction and mental health as well as teaching at local universities. He has written several books focusing on mindfulness, spirituality and personal growth. His journey of recovery has not been easy, however he continues to spread a message of hope and recovery. Richard is joining the local community as they fight against addiction on September 3 at the First Annual Addiction and Recovery Walk at Kirby Park in Kingston, Pa.. He donated 150 books and will share his journey of recovery as a guest speaker at this vital event.
Richard Singer's books have won awards and he has sold the rights in many different countries throughout the world. They are also translated into several different languages. His books have been reviewed and featured in many outlets including BBC in London, Publishers weekly, Library Journal and Martha Stewart's Body and Soul Magazine. Richard wrote and published a majority of his books while living in the Cayman Islands, however he has now returned to the local area to release this new book.
