South Bend, IN, June 23, 2016 --(PR.com
)-- The June 17th South Bend Cubs game at Four Winds Field was the setting as four local companies gave their support to a worthy cause. TruPay, Metropolitan Title, Royal Excursion, and Ben's Soft Pretzels contributed to the event, which raised $4,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. TruPay and St. Jude employees were present at a booth during the game, accepting donations from game attendees and talking about the work St. Jude does for childhood cancer patients and their families.
"We are very proud of our community and local businesses," commented Jack Wilkinson, TruPay's Director of Marketing. "Everyone 'stepped up to the plate' to make this event a success. The Cubs gave away a bat autographed by the entire team and Ben's gave coupons for free pretzels to everyone who made a donation. Metropolitan Title, Royal Excursion, and TruPay all donated time and money. To top it all off, the weather for the game was beautiful. Everyone had a great time."
