Louisiana Honda Dealer Premier Honda Presents Seat Check Saturday, June 25

New Orleans, LA, June 25, 2016 --(PR.com)-- In order to promote the safety of all drivers and passengers, Louisiana Honda Dealership Premier Honda is proud to host Seat Check Saturday, which will focus on proper car seat usage, on June 25th from 10am to 1pm. With the help of Trooper Melissa Matey of the Louisiana State Police, this free event aims to spread awareness of the importance of carseat care and use.

Each year, thousands of children are injured or die in car crashes due to incorrect use of car seats. One out of four child injury deaths is caused in a car crash, however proper usage of car seats reduces the risk for death to infants under one year by 71% and children one to five by 54%. During Seat Check Saturday, attendees will learn the stages of car seats, how to properly install and use car seats, as well as tips and tricks to ensure the safety of children.
