Los Angeles Elementary School Students Compete in Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay Contest
Winning Writers to Receive a $25 Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza Gift Certificate.
Los Angeles, CA, January 16, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Students at local elementary schools are competing in Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza’s annual Martin Luther King, Jr. essay contest.
Third, fourth and fifth grade students, at participating schools** are currently writing personal essays on their dreams for peace in their neighborhoods. One essay writer from each grade at participating schools will win a $25 gift certificate from Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza.
Winners will be announced during the week of January 14, 2008. The winning students will be honored at a noontime awards ceremony January 19, 2008 in Bradley Court.
