)-- Advanced Instruments Inc. delivers an innovative solution to gas analysis with its GPR-1200 Portable PPM Oxygen Analyzer that is specifically designed to detect low oxygen contamination.
The GPR-1200 offers four measuring ranges and high accuracy, making it ideal for a wide variety of industrial applications, including air separation, transportation and semiconductor manufacturing. Also available in a general purpose (GP) version, the GPR-1200 is capable of 50 PPB measurements.
The GPR-1200 is characterized by a unique bypass system, which maintains the oxygen sensor at trace PPM oxygen levels. This enables the analyzer to come online in seconds from bypass mode and eliminate downtime. Proper use of the bypass system eliminates the time between spot checks and significantly increases user productivity. With stainless steel wetted parts and a flow control valve, the inclusive bypass system is APIMS proven to be 1 PPB leak tight.
The analyzer features an advanced electrochemical oxygen sensor specific to oxygen that can provide highly reliable trace PPM oxygen readings in seconds. The sensor requires no maintenance and has a long expected life.
Powered by a heavy duty rechargeable battery, the GPR-1200 can provide 30 days of use with a single overnight charge and can operate in charging mode. An aluminum enclosure allows the analyzer to withstand the rigors of work in the field.
Optional equipment is available to customize the GPR-1200 to your specific application, including an integral pump, coalescing filter, integral regulator, data logger and H2S scrubber. "We like it quite a bit…[we use it for] verification after our tank purging [to make sure] we did a thorough job [of removing oxygen]," says Jason Karras, Quality Manger at Goose Island Beer Company, on the GPR-1200 with coalescing filter. “We like the safety aspects of this unit, also the portability.”
