Netizen Awarded Navy Seaport-E Contract with $5.3B Ceiling Value

Allentown, PA, July 11, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Netizen Corporation, an award-winning provider of software assurance, cybersecurity, and systems integration solutions for government and commercial markets, was awarded the SeaPort Enhanced (Seaport-e) contract by the Department of the Navy in all seven regional zones across the country. SeaPort-e is the Navy’s primary contract vehicle and advanced electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Information Technology, and Program Management.

“This is one of many recent steps we have taken to enhance our competitiveness and increase penetration into defense markets. We are growing an already solid footprint by streamlining customer access to our solutions through contracts such as this one. As the last admission period for this contract vehicle, becoming a prime vendor was critical for us. With Netizen’s award of SeaPort-e, the U.S. Navy can now more easily leverage our award-winning White Glove Service® and deep expertise to serve the needs of defense industry customers across the country,” said Max Harris, Netizen’s Chief of Business Development.

He added that this three-year contract vehicle has an anticipated ceiling value of $5,300,000,000 ($5.3 billion dollars) and serves as a primary avenue through which the Navy procures a wide variety of IT and engineering solutions. Contracts such as these provide streamlined access to fulfill customer requirements with more limited competition through a select pre-qualified pool of vendors chosen by the government.
