Basingstoke, United Kingdom, July 22, 2016 --(PR.com
)-- SPLAreporter was awarded a Seal of Excellence award from the European Commission, as the institution managing Horizon 2020, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation 2014-2020.
Every year, thousands of organisations in Europe apply to the Horizon 2020 Programme. The European Commission runs one of the most complete evaluation systems in the world, using international panels of independent experts. An independent panel of experts evaluated SPLAreporter as an innovative project proposal as it passed rigorous Horizon 2020 assessment thresholds for the 3 award criteria: excellence, impact, quality and efficiency of implementation in the European programme.
The Business Software Centre Ltd realised that organisations spend vast amounts of money every year on software licenses, without realizing that many of these licenses aren’t actually used, or are simply not utilized to their full capacity. Being able to focus on the software actually used, rather than on what has been allocated, means that organisations save money. SPLAreporter is an automated solution that collates and presents software usage data to address the globally recognised challenge of accurate reporting in licensed software usage, especially in Services Provider License Agreement (SPLA) from Microsoft.
Being selected for the Seal of Excellence is recognition of the innovation and enterprise that TBSC has devoted to this new product.
