Northampton, PA, July 24, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Sunday Pool League, a not for profit organization currently consisting of over 100 local members throughout the Lehigh Valley, hosts a Charity Pool Tournament to benefit a local cause or organization each year. This year, proceeds will be donated to Outcast Rescue. Outcast is a rescue specializing in Pit Bulls and Rottweilers. Their main rescue intake area is always local first. They team up with local shelters to help lower the amount of adoptable dogs sitting in shelters. They are a group of all volunteers that love to educate people on these very misunderstood breeds. They rely on fosters to help save dogs in need. One foster home opens up a safe spot to save a life. You provide, love, training (with their help of course), warmth and a safe haven. Outcast provides food, supplies, and veterinary care for their dogs.

The annual Charity Pool Tournament Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, August 6 at The Lappawinzo Fish & Game in Northampton. The cost is $20 per team (2 people), double elimination, prizes for winners. Registration starts at 1:00 p.m. and the tournament begins at 1:30 p.m. There will be a Chinese auction, 50/50 tickets and raffles. The event is open to the public 21 years and older. Playing in the tournament is not required to attend the event and show your support.

Being in such a great community, the fantastic support from local businesses was not surprising.
