Music From The Streets Marks International Busking Day 360 VR of Street Musicians from Santa Monica

Los Angeles, CA, July 25, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Initiative also pledges proceeds to four national nonprofit organizations designed to provide aid to homelessness.

Music From The Streets, the groundbreaking online, multimedia showcase for street musicians around the country and the world, will mark International Busking Day today with the launch of its new website, which will host a groundbreaking 360-degree virtual reality video to stream from the world-famous Santa Monica Third Street Promenade, where some of Los Angeles' top performers hold court. The video can also be seen in 360-degree Virtual Reality on YouTube -- where it launched in April from Coachella -- with highlights of the performances then posted on Facebook.

Music From The Streets spotlights the incredible musicians who perform in cities across the U.S. every day, while at the same time creating awareness and support for the fight against homelessness by directing funds to a number of worthy organizations which serve youth and veterans, including The National Alliance to End Homelessness, National Coalition for the Homeless, National Coalition for Homeless Veterans and StandUp for Kids.

With the slogan, "Where Music Makes a Difference," Music From The Streets' goal is to use the power of music to affect positive change in this country.

Said Music from The Streets creator Chuck Gullo: "Some of the greatest music in the world is being played right here in our cities for our enjoyment, and we want not only to showcase it, but to also bring attention to the issue of homelessness in the process. This shows how music has the power to heal and improve our lives."

Watch the exclusive 360-degree VR stream at Saturday evening, 7/23 at 9:30 p.m. (PT).
