New Book Gives Hope to Men Seeking Greater Vitality, Strength, Energy

Dog Ear Publishing reviews a new book geared toward helping men experiencing low testosterone (“Low T”) or other hormonal imbalances regain their health.

Austin, TX, August 09, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Realizing that his libido had taken a nosedive and his overall health was spiraling downward was a wakeup call for Ed Parr, a casual athlete in his 60s who was determined to solve this problem. After months of research, he discovered his symptoms stemmed from not only Low T but from the general symptoms of imbalanced male hormones called andropause. The health strategies he and fitness coach Mo Harris developed form the core of a new book released by Dog Ear Publishing, which reveals that robust male health is much more than simply raising the levels of that essential male hormone in the body.

Although some specific symptoms of andropause might be obvious, such as low libido or erectile dysfunction, others are not. Increased body fat, fatigue, heart palpitations, depression or anxiety, memory loss and changes in bathroom habits all can be symptoms that a man’s hormones are out of balance. Parr experienced many of those symptoms but also noticed he was getting sick more often than he had years earlier and minor injuries took much longer to heal. All of this drove both Parr and Harris to find a way to help men solve similar health issues.

“Break Free from Low T: Balancing Your Male Hormones Made Easy” serves as a guide for men seeking to learn how to balance their male hormones for a healthier life and turn back the clock to youthful energy, mental acuity, strength and sexual vitality. The book explores both self-directed hormone replacement therapy and that directed by a physician, although both authors urge everyone to consult a physician before starting a new health regime.

The authors share tips ranging from specific foods to avoid or consume to a full range of supplements, as well as fitness routines. The routines are geared toward all levels of fitness and include specific suggestions for products to help the body gear up for and recover from a variety of timed interval workouts that include walking, running, weight routines, and weekend warrior sports. Turning back the hands of one’s biological clock is possible as evidenced by Parr’s before and after photos on the front cover of their book. As the authors write, “Proceed with an open mind and an optimistic heart while reading this book and be comforted by the thought that youthful vitality is within your reach.”

Ed Parr is a former corporate manager now a management consultant, writer and part-time athlete. Mo Harris was a running back at Texas A&M and Sam Houston State University who earned tryouts with the Baltimore Ravens, Tennessee Titans and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He opened Coach Mo’s Elite Fitness Gym and has been a personal fitness trainer for 10 years.
