Triangle Social Media Club Will Discuss Podcasting Over Breakfast

Cary, NC, January 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Jim Tobin of Ignite Social Media announced today that this month’s Triangle Social Media Club will be a discussion of podcasting and its business and marketing applications for all types of organizations.

“Our first Social Media Club gathering brought together an eclectic bunch with the same goal: to learn how to use social media to market and grow their business,” Tobin, president of Ignite Social Media said. “Whether you are an expert in social media, or if you’re just getting stated, this meeting of the Triangle Social Media Club is a great way to learn. Anyone interested should feel free to come by.”

The breakfast meeting will be held at 8:00 a.m. on January 23rd at Panera Bread near Brier Creek (7840 Alexander Promenade Place, Raleigh, NC 27617). Attendees will discuss how podcasting can be used for marketing, how to promote a podcast, the benefits of developing a podcast, and podcasting best practices, among other topics.

“This social media club is not only a chance to build a knowledge base of social media, but to discuss the developments in social media as they apply to business in the Triangle,” said Tobin. “We rotate locations and topics, depending on what the group wants to talk about. For this meeting, please RSVP by calling us or, better, by leaving a comment on www.ignitesocialmedia.com.”
