24 Indian Designers to Style 4 Mumbai Taxis

IndieFolio and TaxiFabric launch a workshop which will provide an opportunity to 24 creative professionals to design the interiors of three Mumbai taxis & the best alongside Sanket Avlani will design a taxi of their own.

Mumbai, India, August 24, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Taxi Fabric and IndieFolio together launch a workshop for Indian creative professionals to design the interiors of four taxis with the help of three mentors. The workshop is scheduled to be held on 3rd and 4th of September. The selected applicants will also get an opportunity of getting their portfolio reviewed by the mentors.

The application process started off on 8th August and requires the applicants to submit their portfolios, which will then be curated by the mentors & the Taxi Fabric team. Winners will be selected based on their overall creativity, presentation of work and community response. The winners will be announced in 3 batches on 16th, 22nd and 28th August.

On Day 1, the 24 winners will be divided into 3 groups, each of which will be led by a mentor. The 1st day will see the group collaborating and coming up with the final design. The schedule of Day 2 involves showcase of the 3 taxis, an interactive speaker session and portfolio reviews. A final winner will also be announced on Day 2, who will get to style a taxi on his/her own.
