The Armored Group (TAG) is proud to announce the launch of their new Protector at the upcoming IACP conference taking place in San Diego, from October 16-18; Developed to provide unequalled safety features and tactical capabilities in the field for deployment, extraction and medic services.

Phoenix, AZ, October 19, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Armored Group (TAG) is proud to announce the launch of their new Protector at the upcoming IACP conference taking place in San Diego, from October 16-18. The Protector is the first in a new a line of discreet armored vehicles that were developed to provide unequalled safety features and tactical capabilities in the field for deployment, extraction and medic services. The Armored Group’s Protector line of vehicles offer rifle around rated personnel protection, blast/ricochet rated floor and run flat tire system, all in a platform that doesn’t draw attention. It features certified, light weight ballistic materials, multiple exterior sizes and interior layouts.

The Armored Group’s Protector is available on a Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter, Nissan NV and Chevrolet/GMC Vans. Both 4x2 and 4x4 models are available to make it adaptable for rural and urban use in a variety of weather conditions, environments and terrains. Because the Protector features state-of-the-art armoring processes, the vehicles are able to protect against NIJ III Threats, including but not limited to the 7.62x51mm rounds and blast-type threats.
