The Armored Group Launches the “Protector” at IACP in San Diego
The Armored Group (TAG) is proud to announce the launch of their new Protector at the upcoming IACP conference taking place in San Diego, from October 16-18; Developed to provide unequalled safety features and tactical capabilities in the field for deployment, extraction and medic services.
The Armored Group’s Protector is available on a Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter, Nissan NV and Chevrolet/GMC Vans. Both 4x2 and 4x4 models are available to make it adaptable for rural and urban use in a variety of weather conditions, environments and terrains. Because the Protector features state-of-the-art armoring processes, the vehicles are able to protect against NIJ III Threats, including but not limited to the 7.62x51mm rounds and blast-type threats.
“The Protector family of armored vehicles has become a critical solution to agencies because of its level of protection, discretion, deployment ability, operational capabilities, versatility and size,” said Robert Pazderka, President and Founder of the Armored Group.
For agencies that require a different type of vehicle, The Armored Group offers a complete line of armored personnel carriers (BATT Line of Vehicles), armored SUVs/Trucks/Sedans, and TAG also has a full, non-armored specialty division that builds units for warrants/raids (i.e. our NTAO Tested and Recommended RDV), Hostage Negotiators, EOD, Command Centers, Crime Scene, Equipment trucks, etc.
The Protector will be on display during the upcoming IACP conference, booth #4607.
