American Law Society Recognizes Natasha M. Pierre of Connecticut

The American Law Society Board of Directors is proud to announce that Natasha M. Pierre has been accepted as a new member.

New York, NY, October 20, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Natasha M. Pierre, Juris Doctor, MSW, is an Ombudsman for crime victims in Connecticut's Justice system. Currently State Victim Advocate for the Office of the Victim Advocate in Connecticut, Pierre previously held positions as the Policy & Legislative Director at The Permanent Commission on the Status of Women, Adjunct Professor at the University of Connecticut, and Attorney in Housing Law (1999-2000) and Family Law (1998-1999).

Pierre received her Juris Doctor at the University of Connecticut School of Law in (1993-1998), and her MSW, Community Organizing/Public Policy degree from UCONN’s School of Social Work (1996-1998). Pierre’s specialties include Bills, Civil Matters, Conducted Legal Research, Family Law, Housing Law, Legislative Agenda, Legislative Process, Public Policy, and Women's Issues.

Pierre is a strategic thinker, effective manager, and versatile communicator with a track record of impacting decisions in legal, legislative, public policy, and social work arenas. She has extensive experience in handling complex issues, a diverse set of responsibilities, and establishing and facilitating connections in government agencies, the private sector, and nonprofit and community organizations.
