Napco to Offer Packaging Innovation Consultancy at Gulfood Manufacturing 2016

Napco will help food and beverage manufacturers identify the suitable packaging materials and design to meet their performance and sustainability goals at Gulfood Manufacturing 2016, Hall 3, Booth #A3-32 from 7 – 9 November at the Dubai World Trade Center in the UAE.

Dammam, Saudi Arabia, November 01, 2016 --(PR.com)-- With over 60 years in Saudi Arabia, Napco’s packaging and machinery experts consult with customers on packaging materials, packaging design, and machine runnability. At Gulfood Manufacturing 2016, they will meet food and beverage manufacturers about product innovation and performance.

Napco supplies processed food, beverage, dairy, and ice cream producers, as well as catering and foodservice distributors and franchises in the GCC, Middle East, Africa and South Asia. A central focus is on sustainability, including sourcing renewable materials, light-weighting packaging, and recyclability of materials.

Sarkis Dagher, Napco Vice President of Market Development, explains, “Our experience with multinational giants started back in the early 2000s in Jeddah, and we grew to become their global supplier of several types of packaging, including butter wrap, coffee sachets, high-quality print standing pouches, and others. Our main focus will always remain to continuously innovate and develop high-end packaging for the F&B industry.”

Innovative F&B Packaging

Napco, along with its research and development center, Polymer Application Center for Technology (PACT), continuously trials new polymers and product designs, combining the latest processing technologies with technical expertise to meet international standards, market demand, and environmental requirements.

Dr. Sylvain Seif, Senior Technical & R&D Expert at PACT, explains, “PACT’s role in the F&B packaging industry is highly focused on controlling CO2 emissions, which is the motto of the new century, while developing cost-efficient solutions that meet the barrier demands and mechanical properties of niche products. We have appropriate analytical equipment and technical expertise to do so. We also have the appropriate pilot extrusion equipment for developing these products in the lab before going to the industrial floor. This minimizes waste from trial and error on an industrial scale.”
