Moye White Welcomes Former Quiznos General Counsel Chris Allyn

Denver law firm Moye White LLP announced that Christina "Chris" Allyn has joined the firm as a partner. Allyn was previously General Counsel and Senior Vice President at Quiznos.

Denver, CO, November 02, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Moye White LLP announced that Christina “Chris” Allyn has joined the Denver law firm as a partner. Allyn was previously General Counsel and Senior Vice President at Quiznos, where she held primary legal responsibility for the company’s global commercial operations.

Allyn’s responsibilities at Quiznos included general corporate and strategic matters, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, executive compensation, intellectual property, human resources, information technology systems, public relations, marketing, procurement, real estate, data privacy, legal department administration and management, and corporate restructuring transactions.

Before joining Quiznos in 2013, Allyn was Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Westminster, Colorado-based DigitalGlobe, Inc., where she had primary legal responsibility for the company’s commercial operations. Prior to that she served as Deputy General Counsel, Interim General Counsel, and Chief Privacy Officer at IBM Corporation/Ricoh in Boulder, Colorado.

Allyn began her career in private practice, and prior to going in-house with IBM she practiced securities and corporate law with the law firm of Dorsey & Whitney in Denver, Colorado.

Allyn received the National Diversity Council’s 2014 Colorado’s Most Powerful and Influential Women Award. The award honors women who exemplify what it takes to succeed in the corporate world while ensuring the success of their organization in the global arena.

She was the 2015 State of Colorado Delegate for the Daniels Fund Ethics Consortium and has been on the Colorado Chapter Board of Directors of the Association of Corporate Counsel since 2012; and prior to choosing to return to private practice, she had been selected as the Association’s President-elect for 2018.

Allyn is a frequent speaker for business groups, and has been a member of various law advisory boards and committees for the University of Colorado School of Law.

She recently co-authored an article for ACC Docket: “Managing Restrictive Covenants in a Multistate Environment: One Size Does Not Fit All (April 2016).”

Allyn is a Colorado native and earned her B.A. Summa Cum Laude from the University of Denver and her J.D. with Honors from the University of Texas School of Law.
