Music and Much More Comes to the California Vegetarian Food Festival

Los Angeles, CA, November 07, 2016 --(PR.com)-- It’s not all about food and more food at the California Vegetarian Food Festival on November 13th. The festival venue, Raleigh Studios Hollywood, will also be bursting with musical entertainment and high-powered fitness programs.

The Grammy Award-winning Timothy Boom will perform his Alternative Soul music and display his multi-instrumental virtuosity. Bloom’s debut single, Stand in the Way, made the Billboard Top 100 list, and since then his career has skyrocketed in the last decade.

Former New York Giants wide receiver Ramses Barden will put attendees through their paces using his Soul Glow Sports formula, which has been described as a marriage of football and dance.

Will Tucker, a four-time Natural Bodybuilder champion and owner of WTF (Will Tucker Fitness), will let listeners in on his secrets for building muscle on a plant-based diet.

Sakina Ibrahim will demo her unique take on Dance Fusion, a cardio-based movement class that mixes hip hop with African-Caribbean rhythms.

For a more Bollywood-inspired session of dance, the Andaaz Dance Academy will be on hand offering festival-goers a joyful atmosphere in which to work out.

Taking the energy down to a deeper level, Dada Ashiishananda will offer guided meditation for all comers.

Turning to upbeat pop and retro rock, singer/songwriter Shivan Bonanno will perform selections from his eclectic musical palette.

David Rothschild, a New York-bred singer and guitarist, will show off his country-folk sound, infused by his background interests in jazz and R&B.

Fusing Native American and Taiwanese musical traditions, songwriter Raye Zaragoza will perform from her debut EP entitled Heroine. The young singer has recently toured throughout North America.

There will also be an opportunity to discover your inner pop star with Alexa Heller, a vocal coach who will get festival attendees singing.

The enchanting Maureen Toth, whose albums include Shine and Cut Flowers, will lay down her sweet strains at the festival as well. Toth was trained on the East Coast and now performs all around her new hometown: Los Angeles.

In addition to the entertainers and athletes, the festival will showcase more than 60 vegan food and lifestyle vendors. There will be a main speaker stage for informative talks by physicians and other health and nutrition experts. The Kumquat Kids Area will feature storytelling and crafts projects for the younger set. A raffle will benefit the festival’s charity partner, Mercy For Animals.

The California Vegetarian Food Festival will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, and will take place rain or shine. The Raleigh Studios complex features convenient parking and dog-friendly space.
