North Shropshire College Raises Money for Guide Dogs

NSC’s (North Shropshire College) learning resource centre has held a raffle to raise money for their chosen charity: Guide dogs.

Oswestry, United Kingdom, November 09, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The competition raised over £30. The prize of a soft toy penguin was won by Georgina Scott, a pupil at the Walford Campus.

Christine Whittingham LRC Manager commented, “We have a good relationship with Oswestry Guide Dogs Fundraising Branch. In the past Lin Stapley (Branch Organiser) and her guide dog, Woody have visited to take part in NSC events and speak to groups in the Library including Level 2 Animal Care students at the Walford Campus. The Learning Resources team also sponsors a guide dog and is proud to support the Guide Dogs charity both locally and nationally.”

For anyone interested in courses at the College there will be a twilight taster session in Hair and Beauty held on the 9th of November at the Oswestry Campus.
