Allentown, PA, November 13, 2016 --(PR.com
)-- Brokers, agents and support staffers at Keller Williams’ Allentown Market Center are spending the next two weeks working to ensure that the less fortunate in the Lehigh Valley community celebrate a Happy Thanksgiving by collecting non-perishable food and personal supplies for the Allentown Rescue Mission.
The drive runs through Saturday, Nov. 19.
“At Keller Williams we are community agents who just happen to be in the business of real estate,” said Team Leader Tai DeSa. “We want to make a positive impact in our community and this is a great way to benefit a lot of lives over the next several weeks.”
All of the items collected will be delivered to the Allentown Rescue Mission warehouse on Nov. 19 by Keller Williams’ volunteers. Frozen turkeys may be dropped off at Keller Williams Allentown office, 40 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., between 8:30 and 9:45 a.m. on Nov. 19.
Among the collectibles are supermarket gift cards, canned soup, tuna, boxed or canned juices, assorted pasta, condiments, beans, rice, granola and cereal bars and cereal. In addition, the office will collect coffee, liquid bleach, toilet tissue, paper towels, trash bags, men’s deodorant, socks, boxers, tee-shirts (all new), anti-bacterial hand soap and other supplies.
The Rescue Mission will share the donated materials with other shelters in the Allentown area, as well.
