Kansas Katalyst Award to Recognize Inspiring Kansan with $10,000 Donation to Charity

Manhattan, KS, November 19, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Kansas Katalyst Awards are currently accepting nominations to recognize innovative, socially conscious and community-driven Kansas entrepreneurs and business owners. After selection, the 2016 Kansas Katalyst will be recognized with a virtual award ceremony broadcast live on Facebook from their hometown or place of business and will be awarded a $10,000 cash donation to the charity of their choice.

Nominations can be submitted now through December 15, 2016 online at www.KansasKatalyst.com. The 2016 Kansas Katalyst will be announced January 15, 2017.

An outstanding Kansas Katalyst nominee is described as an entrepreneur or business owner who inspires others to do something faster, better and with a larger result; someone who sparks inspiration.

“I think problems can be solved by small entrepreneurs who provide value to the community in creative ways,” said Mark Queen, co-founder of the Kansas Katalyst award and strategic business coach. “They take enormous risks with their personal wealth and create job opportunities. I think that's worth recognizing.”

Business partners and sponsors include Midland Exteriors, CoreScore Organizational Achievement Solutions, Rocking M Media and The Kansas Chamber of Commerce. To become a sponsor or serve on the award selection committee, email info@KansasKatalyst.com.

“The Kansas Chamber is proud to sponsor this year’s Kansas Katalyst Awards,” said Mike O’Neal, president and CEO for the Kansas Chamber of Commerce. “As the leading statewide advocacy organization in Kansas, we know the importance of having an inspirational leader in the workplace to not only mentor and motivate other employees, but to help the organization achieve its goals.”
