Greater NY Business Expo to be Held at Madison Square Garden on 1/31/08

New York, NY, January 28, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Greater NY Chamber in conjunction with other local chambers & trade organizations throughout the Metro Region will host its 8th Business Expo and Resource Fair at MSG from 1pm until 6pm.

Free information & seminars with expert panels to help small businesses and entrepreneurs grow and prosper will be provided by over 50 partners. This Expo has been generously supported by Aetna, Air America, Broadview Networks, The Epoch Times, Health Plus, Hilton Grand Vacations, The Journal News, Staples, the US Postal Service, The NY Sun, WFAS AM/FM, WNBC & more.

Attendees are encouraged to register for our powerful seminar offerings which will once again exhibit top personnel of important agencies to staff expert panels like; 1) Immigration Reform & Hiring; 2) Tax Credits & Access to Capital/ Credit and 3) Professional Development (full program & panel schedule due out 1/18/07).

The original Small Business Resource Fair concept was developed by a consortium of agencies, local chambers, civic leaders and businesses headed by the Internal Revenue Service Tax Education and Compliance Division and the Greater NY Chamber of Commerce. The first Expo was held in October 2002 at Madison Square Garden. Today it has grown into a semi-annual event.

Greater NY Chamber Expos have been recognized by the US Congress, the IRS, the States of New York and New Jersey, the City of New York and many local business & civic leaders as an important source of information and contacts. At this expo, the US Small Business Administration will recognize the Chamber for its exemplary work in helping entrepreneurs, business and civic leaders to forge important relationships and improve their bottom lines.

This Expo kicks off with a welcome luncheon in the Madison Square Garden Theatre previously headlined by the likes of Greg Meeks, Robert Jackson, Charles Gargano, Virginia Fields, Nydia Velazquez, Bill Thompson and David Weprin. They expect over 300 people to be in attendance for the official ribbon cutting which will open the Expo to the general public at 1:00 PM. The Expo then closes with a sensational networking session in the Club Room with hundreds of Chamber members & GiveAways from popular NY Restaurants
