Teacher Training at North Shropshire College

Teacher training at North Shropshire College (NSC) is flourishing, providing important education and training for aspiring teachers. The BTEC Level 3 teacher training programme is a short programme designed to give an introduction to teaching and learning. Spanning over 12 weeks, the programme culminates in a short ‘micro’ session where students teach a topic to their peers.

Oswestry, United Kingdom, December 16, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Upon graduating from the BTEC L3 programme, some of the graduates will progress onto the Certificate/Post Graduate Certificate in Education, currently delivered in partnership with Staffordshire University. This gives students a full professional teaching qualification, leading to QTLS (qualified Teacher Learning and Skills) that may enable them to teach in a range of education and training sectors including Further Education, Sixth Form Colleges, and Training and Development.

The Certificate/Post Graduate in Education is a two year, part-time programme that currently can be studied at either undergraduate (Level 4/5) or post graduate (Level 7 -Masters level).
