Medix Receives Illinois Department of Commerce (DCEO) 2016 Governor’s Export Award
Medix, a Chicago-based job creator, recently expanded to Toronto, Canada and was awarded with the Illinois Department of Commerce (DCEO) 2016 Governor’s Export Award. With Illinois as the fifth largest exporting state in the nation, the Governor’s Export Awards program highlights the significant contribution of exports to the state’s economy. The awardees have a combined export revenue in excess of $75 million and employ more than 1,000 people in Illinois.

The Governor’s Export Awards program is designed to highlight the significant contribution of exports to Illinois’ economy.
According to the Illinois DCEO, Illinois is the largest exporting state in the Midwest, and the fifth largest exporting state in the nation. Exports by Illinois companies totaled over $63.4 billion in 2015. The awardees have a combined export revenue in excess of $75 million and employ more than 1,000 people in Illinois.
