Announcing the Arrival of a New Baby to Help Your Child Sleep Safer

Ceewee Designs™ introduces Ceewee Baby™, a new line of natural fiber sleep sacks, toddler pillows, and nap blankets to help your child sleep safer.

Charlotte, NC, January 31, 2008 --(PR.com)-- After the birth of her first son, Jennifer Johnson went on a quest for the perfect sleep sack. “I was so dismayed by what I found,” says Jennifer. “The sleep sacks I found were poorly constructed and made of low grade polyester fleece. I knew I could do better...”

She has done better. Jennifer launched a new line of natural fiber infant sleep sacks, toddler sleep sacks, toddler pillows, and nap blankets under the brand name Ceewee Baby™ (www.ceeweebaby.com). Ceewee Baby™ offers a wide variety of fabrics, from whimsical prints, to funky flowers, to demure pastels. “You really can find the perfect sleep sack to fit both your child and their personality,” says Jennifer.

A sleep sack is used over a baby's sleepwear in place of a blanket. Ceewee sleep sacks follow the Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Alliance’s best practices guidelines to give babies the warmth they need without compromising their safety. Toddler pillows and nap blankets are perfect for the older child transitioning out of a sleep sack into their own ‘big girl or big boy’ bed, or for preschool or daycare naptime.

All Ceewee Baby™ products are made from natural fiber materials. Fabrics are 100% cotton flannel. The padding used for the heavier weight sleep sacks is a chemical free, fire-retardant padding manufactured in a green factory, using only plantation trees. “Natural fiber products are so important, especially for sleep sacks,” Jennifer explains. “It is a ‘breathable’ fabric that prevents your baby or toddler from overheating.”

Parents of special needs children can customize their Ceewee sleep sack to accommodate the needs of their children, usually free of charge. Sleep sacks can be modified with reinforced openings or velcro closures where needed for feeding tubes, monitors, braces, etc.

As if quality, custom designed, natural fiber sleep sacks were not enough of an innovation, Ceewee sleep sacks can also sport optional twiddlers™. These appealing closed loops of ribbons are attached to the sleep sack for the child to feel and explore. Not only does this activity increase their fine motor skills, but it also calms and soothes babies before they fall asleep.
