tyBit™ Announces $10,000 Cash Giveaway for Video Contest

tyBit, Inc is announcing a new video contest in which contestants film a short tyBit search video using any idea, plot, skit, or situation they creatively choose.

Fayetteville, NC, February 01, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The economy is sluggish, unemployment is high, savings are low, the budget deficit continues to expand. “The perfect climate to Win Some Cash,” says Mike Noble, Director of Strategic Alliances for tyBit, Inc. He and Bill Harrison of sister company AIT, Inc. have filmed a short tyVid™ video announcing a new video contest and posted it to www.tyBit.com/contest. “We’re not eligible to win”, says Bill, “but Mike and I are sure hoping that the contest entries get better than what we’ve made”.

tyBit™ officials say the contest works like this; Contestants film a short video using any idea, plot, skit, or situation they creatively choose. The film is uploaded to YouTube.com and the contestant then fills out the contest form at www.tyBit.com/videocontest.php. tyBit™ judges will track the views, discussions, and downloads associated with the video and award cash prizes to the top three winners, $5,000, $3,000, and $2,000, respectively. The top twenty videos will be featured on the tyBit™ website. Deadline for the contest is April 30, 2008, but the earlier contestants submit their entries, the more opportunity to capture views and generate discussion and downloads. Gilbert Foust of Foust Media Images says he’s anxious to get started; “I’ve been a tyBit search user since the first beta release and I find it to be feature rich and user friendly, especially with the spyware and virus protection plus the browser accelerator. “I’ve got my directors cap on and will start filming my contest entry soon”.

tyBit™ officials recently announced they’ve just added another search tool to its arsenal of growing user benefits. Not only does it search multiple engines, protect your privacy, accelerate searching and provide users with fresh content based on preferences, it allows them to shop the web to find the best deals. “I actually asked my mother what she wanted in a search engine for this one.” Said Michael Roberts, CIO and head of technology for tyBit™. “We really are trying to make the user experience feature packed. So we now search several engines and directories so tyBit™ users can shop for items and compare pricing, terms and service, truly one-stop-shopping.

tyBit™ is affiliated with AIT (www.AIT.com), a web hosting and domain registration company that has achieved 11 straight years of sustained profitability and has generated $100s of millions in revenue while creating a profound economic influence on its surrounding community. AIT has been named 2 times to the Inc. 500 list of fast growing firms, 3 times to the Deloitte & Touche Fast 500 list, and has been previously named as the NC Entrepreneur Firm of the Year. Additionally, Briggs recently returned from Washington, DC after briefing Senators Elizabeth Dole and Richard Burr about the formation of the Briggs-tyBit Charitable Foundation for Education. The mission of the foundation is to provide 30 to 40 % of tyBit™’s gross revenues to fund education in North Carolina, and eventually across the nation.
