American Heart Month - Using Guided Imagery for Heart Health - a Benefit Seminar

Imagery is the biological connection between the mind and body and provides effective ways to relax the body, calm the mind, and resolve stressful situations.

Quincy, MA, January 17, 2017 --( Consulting Hypnotist, Kathryn McGlynn, presents a free educational seminar in honor of American Heart Month at The Tam Center for Healing, 15 Cottage Ave, 5th floor, Quincy, MA 02169. The event is held February 7, from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. McGlynn shares several simple stress reduction techniques and facilitates a brief group guided-imagery relaxation session.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. The prestigious Mayo Clinic utilizes guided imagery to help their cardiac patients harness their healing capacity.

Says McGlynn, "Using the power of the imagination is a vital key in directing the body's own innate healing abilities. The use of imagery is simple and easy and can be done anywhere, anytime. It's similar to daydreaming, yet more focused in its intent."

McGlynn, who is also a Motivational Coach, has a private hypnosis practice in Quincy and additionally teaches numerous adult-ed hypnosis seminars in various schools, colleges, hospitals and healing centers throughout New England.
