GRANTfinder's Funding in Action Presents Interactive Workshop with Leading Funders

Funding in Action is the latest GRANTfinder event, geared towards helping those in the voluntary, community and charitable sectors understand and experience the world of funding.

London, United Kingdom, January 19, 2017 --(PR.com)-- GRANTfinder's Funding in Action (Birmingham, 7 March 2017) has been designed to meet the specific needs of voluntary groups, charities, CVS and schools/academies, as well as charitable arms of organisations such as housing associations, hospitals and police and fire services.

Alongside GRANTfinder's seasoned team of trainers and policy specialists are guest speakers who have significant coal-face experience of applying for and distributing funding. From the Big Lottery Fund to Lloyds Bank Foundation, from Idox's Reading Room to Arts Council England, the event boasts a packed agenda dedicated to supporting organisations on their funding journeys.

By the end of the day, delegates are expected to take away tips on the following key principles of funding practice:

– Social media strategy – to support your engagement with volunteers, donors and funding providers

– Getting great ideas funded – insight to help boost your success rates

– Understanding what drives funder policy and desired outcomes – spotting a funder's real objectives

– Demonstrating impact – optimising the chances of successful applications by including strong evidence of project value

The event will take place on 7 March 2017 at Aston Villa Football Club, Birmingham.

Included as part of every delegate package is a Bid Commentary on an example application of choice. Delegates are able to submit a funding application at or after the event and an experienced team will provide practical feedback on how to improve the bid and its chances of securing funding.
