New Book by Tony Kampner is Guide for Helping Heal World

Dog Ear Publishing has reviewed this new book that urges people to consider creating a society based on cooperation that fosters individual liberty and human rights because the current system based on competition has led us to materialism and endless wars.

Crete, IL, January 26, 2017 --(PR.com)-- This new book is basically a comparison between the choice of basing the next phase of human history on materialistic principles or on holistic principles. Cooperation and competition are mutually exclusive. Cooperation results in a holistic social dogma but competition results in a materialistic social dogma. War is the result of society based on materialism and peace is the result of a society based on holistic principles. This author implores people to change course and adopt the holistic approach in order to ensure a better future for everyone by embracing peace instead of war. He explores this topic in detail in his book, released by Dog Ear Publishing.

Tony Kampner has studied holistic medicine and its origins in the Orient and he feels that the holistic perspective gives the best view of what true reality is. The current materialistic approach uses the divide and conquer technique to advance the agenda of central control. All of the resulting divisions have resulted in a fragmented society and divided nations. This has created a false reality based on deceptions and propaganda. People have been conditioned to believe in the resulting fake reality and people mechanically hold on to this creation as if they were under a magical spell.

Unfortunately, people can’t have the best of both worlds. Mutually exclusive means that people need to make a choice. Kampner recalls the line from the movie “Hook,” when an elderly Wendy admonishes her old friend who has become a busy business man with the comment, “Peter, you have become a pirate.” Peter Pan had left the holistic realm for the materialistic realm, much like Darth Vader did when he went to the dark side in “Star Wars.”

In “The Art of Peace: The Empire Has No Soul,” Kampner explores insights he developed while exploring alternative medicine. The book approaches this issue from three perspectives. First in the field of politics with a discussion of holistic government, then in the field of health care with a discussion of holistic health and then in the field of spirituality when he gives his views on spiritual evolution as gleaned from Oriental models.

He notes that the Western medical tradition of treating the physical body with little consideration for its spiritual component seems to be the result of the materialistic approach present in Western society. He writes that people have the opportunity to choose between competition and cooperation but that there are accompanying consequences. The choice between a materialist society and a holistic one is the same as the following choices of chaos and poverty vs. prosperity, slavery vs. human rights, conquest vs. negotiation and ultimately war vs. peace.

The quest to become whole again means people working together instead of leaders pitting people against one another. Materialism inevitably leads to an endless series of wars in the scrabble to have more, whereas the founding documents of the United States, for instance, provide a blueprint for holistic government based on cooperation. As he writes, “We all want a clean environment, a safe place to raise our families and the means to support them, the right to think freely and pursue our dreams, so why can’t we work together?”

Kampner also wrote the book “Why Alternative Medicine and Why Now: A Primer on Holistic Medicine” as well as the blog Becoming Whole Again.
