Music for Minors Foundation honored as part of the 2008 “Honoring the Community” series sponsored by First Integrity Bank, the Olde Marco Inn & Suites and the Kruchten Law Firm.
Naples, FL, February 02, 2008 --(PR.com)-- On Thursday, January 24, 2008, First Integrity Bank, the Olde Marco Inn & Suites, and the Kruchten Law Firm presented the first in a series of receptions honoring local community organizations.
The “Honoring the Community” award series honors charitable, non-profit organizations and philanthropic groups throughout Collier County and this reception honored the Neighborhood Health Clinic.
Board members and volunteers of Music for Minors Foundation enjoyed a cocktail reception in the Kruchten’s private penthouse at the Inn. The Music for Minors Foundation was recognized for their work to provide musical instruments to children with a financial need in middle schools in both Collier and Lee counties.
“We have worked diligently for the past three years to provide musical instruments for children that have a financial need. These children would not have the opportunity to learn to read or play music or be in the school’s music program without these instruments. It has changed the lives of many wonderful children who will become a part of our country. It is a heartwarming experience for us when we see the appreciation from these qualified, talented students, as well as from their parents or guardians,” says Dorothy Friedenreich, Foundation President.
