American Law Society Recognizes Amanda Kessler

New York, NY, February 10, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Amanda Kessler began her career in law in 2003, serving as a law clerk to the honorable Catherine D. Perry of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Kessler graduated Cum Laude with degrees in Biology and English from Saint Louis University before attending Saint Louis University School of Law. There, she served as executive editor of the law journal and received an academic excellence award for Legal Research and Writing—a class for which she assisted as a teaching assistant.

Today, Kessler’s practice focuses on asbestos litigation, toxic torts, products liability, and complex litigation. Kessler joined The Ferraro Law Firm after leaving her position as an Assistant U.S. Attorney. Kessler practiced in the Civil Division at the U.S. Attorney Office for the Southern District of Florida, where she litigated cases on behalf of the United States involving medical malpractice claims, as well as other tort actions.

Prior to serving as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Kessler was an associate with a nationally recognized law firm in Cleveland, Ohio, where she focused in the areas of business litigation and product liability actions. Ms. Kessler represented clients, including financial institutions, major real-estate developers, and private equity groups in complex commercial and corporate disputes. She was involved in claims related to manufacturing and distribution of consumer products, and worked extensively on pharmaceutical litigation. Also of note, while practicing in Cleveland, Ms. Kessler handled several pro bono matters before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

The American Law Society board of directors selectively chooses lawyers who show a history of greatness and consistency. It is a privilege to have Amanda Kessler join the organization.
