American Law Society Recognizes Michael P. Kane
The American Law Society Board of Directors is proud to announce that Michael P. Kane has been accepted as a new member with ATL distinction. The America's Top Lawyers list is comprised of well-rounded individuals representing a diverse cross-section of U.S. legal advocates.
Mr. Kane earned his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. Prior to law school, Mr. Kane graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University.
Following his graduation, Mr. Kane served as a judge advocate in the US Marine Corps where he was a military prosecutor, defense counsel and operational attorney during a tour to Iraq. He worked as a Deputy District Attorney in 18th Judicial District, serving Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert and Lincoln counties.
Mr. Kane has successfully tried a number of jury trials throughout his career, including securing the largest personal injury verdict in Colorado during 2015 (over $5,000,000). In fact, Mr. Kane’s achievements spurred the National Trial Lawyers and the American Society of Legal Advocates to award him Top 40 Lawyers Under 40.
The American Law Society board of directors selectively chooses lawyers who show a history of greatness and consistency. It is their privilege to have Mr. Kane join the organization.
