ASAA Sleep Apnea Awareness Day Announced for March 6, 2008

Annual event highlights sleep disorder and education for patients and their loved ones.

Washington, DC, February 06, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The American Sleep Apnea Association has announced March 6, 2008 as the date for its annual Sleep Apnea Awareness Day.

Planning is underway for an event in Washington, DC during National Sleep Awareness Week March 3-8, to premiere the organization’s latest video before heading to Minneapolis, MN to join the nation’s largest A.W.A.K.E. group that will be holding an all day event on Sleep Apnea Awareness Day.

The completed video, which will be available on DVD, will run 10 minutes and is shot in high definition.

The video will have a prologue and an epilogue that can be used as PSA for television.

Sleep Apnea Awareness Week is set aside each year by the ASAA to educate and raise awareness on sleep apnea, treatment, medical information, and resources.

The ASAA also hosts a message board to offer information and support for sleep apnea patients, along with families and loved ones of patients.
