)-- Debbie Houston, president of Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston Builder Services (www.hpwnewhomes.com), has announced that Sharon Andrews, a senior sales manager with the firm, has won the National Silver Award for Sales Manager of the Year for the Region from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Now in its 27th year, The Nationals is the nation’s largest competition for new-home sales and marketing professionals. The competition, which is presented by the NAHB National Sales and Marketing Council, draws over 1,200 entries and 1,100 attendees. Andrews will attend the gala awards ceremony on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando, Fla., during the International Builders’ Show.
As a senior sales manager for Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston Builder Services, Andrews supervises 17 sales agents in addition to support staff. Active in several professional organizations, Andrews is a member of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS®, the Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM) and the Triangle Sales and Marketing Council (TSMC). In addition to serving as the national director for the NAHB, she is a former vice president of associates with the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County. Andrews received the HPW Builder Services Manager of the Year award in 2007 and has earned several awards from Million-Dollar Circle, a program that recognizes outstanding achievements in new-home sales volumes. She is a Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP) and a Certified Mortgage Professional (CMP). A native of Roanoke, Va., Andrews resides in Lake Royale with her husband.
