)-- Great Old Broads for Wilderness (Broads) invites you to their Mother’s Day Art for Advocacy Fundraiser on Sunday, May 14, 2017, from 12:00 to 4:00 pm at Fox Fire Farms Winery in Ignacio, Colorado. The event celebrates family, friends, and Mother Earth and features art auctions, local wine and music, raffle prizes, carriage rides, and more.
Several artists have donated creations inspired by nature that will be auctioned off in silent and live auctions to benefit Broads’ work to protect and preserve America’s wild public lands. Fox Fire Farms will serve a selection of their delicious local wines and musicians from Four Corners region will entertain attendees. For the kids, there will be a “creation station” where budding artists will be encouraged to let their artistic juices flow. Fox Fire Farms Winery overlooks a picturesque valley and will offer carriage rides and tours of a historic schoolhouse located on the grounds. Food vendors will be on hand as well.
Tickets are $35 and children under 18 are free. With each ticket purchase, adults (21 and over) will receive a complimentary glass of wine, a Great Old Broads commemorative wine glass, bus transportation to and from Ignacio (departing from Durango), and a raffle ticket. A variety of raffle prizes will be given away, and attendees will have an opportunity to purchase additional tickets to increase their chances of winning.
