The Nation Building Workshop is a forum where matters that are integral to the principles and purpose of nation building are discussed with an informed audience. The focus of the workshop is positioning for economic recovery and the Honourable Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment; Dr. Okechukwu Enelamah is the Keynote speaker for the event. The Nation Building Workshop is scheduled to be held on the 6th of May 2017 by 9am at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

All is set for the 4th edition of the Nation Building Workshop hosted by Apostles in the Marketplace (AiMP). Established in 2003, AiMP was founded with the strategic focus of Nation Building through the transformation of the Nigerian and African Marketplace.

The Nation Building Workshop, a forum where matters integral to the principles of nation building are discussed with an informed audience and themed Positioning for Economic Recovery, will host the Honourable Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment, Dr. Okechukwu Enelamah as the Keynote Speaker providing an opportunity for him to present the audience with the blueprint of his agenda for the economic reform in the country. Also speaking as part of a high-level panel from various sectors of the economy are Ibukun Awosika (CEO, the Chair Centre Group and Chairman, First Bank Nigeria Plc), Opeyemi Agbaje (CEO RTC Advisory Services Ltd), Mezuo Nwuneli (Managing Partner, Sahel Capital), and Bismarck Rewane (MD Financial Derivatives Ltd) among others. The panellists will discuss strategies for the development of the Nigerian economy while sharing ideas on how entrepreneurs can leverage on these and grow their organisations successfully.

This first part of the day’s activities will also feature the graduation ceremony of young professionals, who have completed a 3-month long training course trained designed to prepare them for the task of becoming nation builders, business leaders and agents of transformation. Later, in the evening of the same day, the Annual Partners’ Dinner will serve to raise the necessary funds needed to support AiMP in the accomplishment of its objectives to raise change agents for the future of the country. Both programmes will hold at the Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, Victoria Island Lagos by 9am (attendance is free but registration is required) and 5pm (by invitation only) respectively.
