)-- The Georgia Nurses Association established in 1907 (GNA) hosted its first and largest community event in history on Easter weekend Saturday April 15th (www.GeorgiaNurses.org). GNA welcomed and interacted with over 100 local residents and families who came from as far as Alabama to enjoy the Inaugural Spring Family Expo. Children enjoyed the 8' obstacle course, inflatable basketball hoop and the Easter Egg Hunt to mention a few. Parents and adults were greeted by local businesses in the exhibitors showcase where they contributed to the local economy through patronage.
The Spring Family Expo is a free community and family event open to the public and designed to encourage not only family unity, neighborly camaraderie but also to stimulate economic development. The organization attracted the partnership of Grand Canyon University (www.GCU.edu) as the Community Sponsor of the expo along with several exhibiting sponsors.
CEO, Mr. Marcus Downs extends a special thank you to the entire staff of GNA Mrs. Shan Haugabrook, Mr. Tim Davis and SPAC Director Ms. Debra Griffin Stevens as well as each and every volunteer that tirelessly helped to support the day and PR Company Impact Branding Consulting for organizing the Spring Family Expo.
