Strategic Alliance Offers Benefit

Stokley Tomlinson, president of Top Notch Computer Solutions Inc, became an entrepreneur at 18. However, he didn’t have anyone he could count on or who had the marketing expertise to write website content. When his sister, Cymantia Tomlinson-Bey started Elite Communications Group Inc in 2007, a marketing writing agency, the missing link to his growing business was in place.

Top Notch is now offering website development and design services. The strategic alliance he has formed with his sister’s company, Elite Communications Group Inc. is enabling him to create websites with all the necessary design elements, search engine optimization, and professionally written content.

“Other young business owners can draw inspiration from us and from their own strategic alliances to help grow their businesses,” said Tomlinson. Tomlinson, 26 and Tomlinson-Bey, 27 say working together has been mutually beneficial because each has a talent the other lacks and they’ve learned from each other.

Top Notch Computer Solutions Inc began operations in 2001 and has an office in Mt. Airy, a neighborhood in Philadelphia. Top Notch provides computer related solutions for small businesses and residential customers. Elite Communications Group, Inc opened in 2007 and has its office in West Oak Lane Philadelphia. They’re a boutique writing agency providing writing solutions for non-profits and businesses.
