Children’s Learning Adventure’s STEAM-based curriculum ensures daily exposure to learning through a multiple learning environments approach. Their STEAM-based curriculum uses a hands-on, systematic approach to teach science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics while developing problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Children’s Learning Adventure believes a crucial component of learning is the environment. In addition to a primary classroom, they provide daily small group instruction in specialty classrooms. Their multiple learning environments provide authentic learning activities in a meaningful context to maximize every child’s learning capacity. Students will apply the knowledge they learned in their homeroom in specialty classrooms, such as practicing math skills by measuring ingredients during culinary class.
Children’s Learning Adventure campuses feature stimulating learning environments for preschool-aged children, including: a science center complete with a planetarium, multimedia room with a real TV studio utilizing video cameras and more, an expansive library, a technology center fully equipped with iPads and tablets, an art studio, and an indoor basketball gym. The campus also features amenities for older children, including: bowling lanes, a culinary classroom, a modern dance studio with 16-screen video wall, ballet studio, an expansive outdoor playground and regulation basketball and tennis courts.
The Children's Learning Adventure curriculum provides the parent with a "proof of learning” through daily teacher-parent interactions, weekly activity guides with detailed reports, and weekly take home activities linking learning experiences to the home environment for the child.
