A Valentine from Graham Nash's MAC

The true story of how Waterlogg Productions founder Joe Bevilacqua met his wife because of Graham Nash's laptop, just one of seven Joe Bev radio specials airing nationwide this month.

Napanoch, NY, February 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- February 2008 is a busy month for Joe Bevilacqua (or Joe Bev as he is often known). The veteran, award-winning writer, cartoonist, radio producer, actor and founder of Waterlogg Productions has not one, but seven different radio specials being broadcast on public radio stations across the country, and XM Satellite Radio.

In one essay, Bevilacqua describes how on February 12, 1996, an e-mail from rock legend Graham Nash's MAC laptop triggered a series of bizarre coincidences, which led to the meeting of his wife Lorie Kellogg. The couple just celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary. The ten minute piece can be heard on Public Radio International, as well as stations including KUAR (89 FM) and KLRE (90.5 FM) in Arkansas, and on line at The Public Radio Exchange, through February 14.

The story was also published in the February 7 issue of The Ellenville Journal, a weekly newspaper located in Ellenville, New York.

Bevilacqua has other Valentine's Day pieces airing on the radio, including "A Mathematical Valentine,” a charming profile in which Bevilacqua tracks down his former mathematics professor Ron Reummler to hear how math can explain lost love; and "The Love of Lee the Horselogger,” in which he meets a man who set out in a covered wagon in 2006 to find his childhood sweetheart and fell in love with America instead.

He also has several hour-long hour long specials airing in the next week, including "Love" - Live at Aroma Thyme Bistro - Cupid came early, at a November 2007 open mic night, when it was all about love.

If these were not enough, Bevilacqua also wrote, produced, directed and acted in a radio play: "Cupid Comes to Camp Waterlogg," which will air on February 14, from 11:00 p.m. to midnight, on XM Satellite Radio's Sonic Theater Channel 163.
