10-Year Market Forecast – Electrical Power Test Equipment

ElectroniCast releases their market forecast of the worldwide use of Power Analyzers and Power Quality Analyzers.

Aptos, CA, May 16, 2017 --(PR.com)-- ElectroniCast Consultants, a leading market and technology research consultancy addressing the electrical and photonics industries, today announced the release of an extensive study report covering the worldwide market for both Power Analyzers and Power Quality Analyzers.

Power analyzer (PA) is a type of test equipment that measures various electrical power characteristics of devices that generate, transform, or consume electricity. Power Quality Analyzers (PQA) measure both current and voltage, and detect dips, swells, fast transients, harmonics, power factor, and a host of other parameters that are useful for advanced power troubleshooting.

According to ElectroniCast Consultants, the global consumption value of Power Analyzers is projected to reach $464 million in 2017 (up from $456 million in 2016). The Asia Pacific region (APAC) was the largest consumer of Power Analyzers last year; value in the APAC region is forecast to reach $293 million in 2026. Market forecast data in this study report refers to consumption (use) for a particular calendar year; therefore, this data is not cumulative data.

The worldwide consumption value of Power Quality Analyzers (PQA) was $366 million in 2016 and the value is forecast to $385 million in 2017 and an impressive $618 million in 2026. All values and prices in this report are at end-user levels, and are in current dollars, which include the effect of a forecasted 5 percent annual inflation rate over the forecast period.

“Data Centers, utility and government infrastructures, industry, commerce, health care services, banks and other service providers are extremely dependent upon electrical and electronic systems. It is critical for all modern business operations to keep their own electrical systems constantly under control under any possible conditions,” said Stephen Montgomery, director of the market study at ElectroniCast.
