New York, NY, June 08, 2017 --(PR.com
)-- Rhino, the nom de plum assumed by a recently discovered NYC artist, has been offered a public exhibition by the independent group, Smash Gallery. The artist is predominantly a landscape painter but has done equally worthy works in pastel and charcoal. Rhino is not classically trained and began painting only recently. In 3 years of studio time, he has amassed an impressive collection of abstracts, modern and traditional landscapes, and impressionism-styled oil and acrylic paintings on canvas.
The most appealing aspect of these works is the brush technique and use of dramatic color. They are unique in that they are simultaneously modern and traditional. The artist creates entirely from his vision, often completely ignoring traditional standards of light source, shape, contrast, or realism until the very final brush strokes.
Smash Gallery is excited to premiere this artist's body of work this summer. Exhibition dates and locations will be released during June 2017.
