)-- Social Status Marketing, a Springfield-based digital marketing company, announced today that it had purchased the area’s Metro Woman Magazine, and plans to offer advertisers added value with social, web, and digital advertising support and expand its physical reach to Branson.
Former owner and longtime publisher, Audrey Hartman will remain a valued consultant for the resource guide, while Angela Frizell, owner of Social Status Marketing, will assume the role of Publisher.

In addition to the change in ownership of the magazine, Metro Woman Magazine announced it has launched a re-designed Metro Woman Magazine website at 417metrowoman.com which features advertisers and offers community members the ability to add events, connect with the publication through social media, and showcases a new editorial calendar.
Founded in 2004 by Hartman, Metro Woman Magazine is a licensed directory printed by Hidden Values. Published bimonthly as a free resource throughout the Springfield metro area, Metro Woman Magazine is currently distributed to approximately 5,000 readers per month.
Angela Frizell, owner of Social Status Marketing and now Metro Woman Magazine, is an seasoned marketing professional with over a decade experience in the digital marketing arena.
