WeAreSingleMoms.Org Launches Informational and Forums Site

Single Mothers’ Social Organization Goes Beyond MySpace Profile

Boston, MA, February 13, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Social networking site WeAreSingleMoms.Org has launched its informational and forums site to bring their 1,100 plus single moms closer together.

Started as a MySpace profile, WeAreSingleMoms.org worked its way into the hearts of single mothers by giving away one-thousand dollars in $100 and $50 increments. The forum has slowly increased the amount of social conversation to include important topics such as bipolar disorder and ADHD, among others.

The new format allows single moms to share their support for one another directly instead of having to repost every comment and reply.

A single mom will be able to share her day, good or bad, ask advice, enter contests, find discounts and freebies, post links or contact information for hard-to-find services, such as fuel assistance and daycare, and best of all meet friends who share the same life. The future plans will include a place to voice that struggle to politicians on both the local and national levels.

Founded in 2007, WeAreSingleMoms is a non-profit organization started by single mothers and those raised by them.
